The Rage of A Sniper Hero

Jake Ryan is a homeless drunk to everyone else. He's actually Bullseye, the legendary sniper the country is begging to find. Terrorist attacks are stacking up. The president wants Bullseye back. But Jake is busy surviving. He shows up at the president's speech for a free drink and gets kicked out for being a homeless nobody. A soldier calls him the defense minister's eldest son and says his wife killed herself because he abused her. So Jake picks up a pebble and flicks it into a soda can from a distance no one thinks possible. The president sees him and lets him in.

Later, shots ring out. Theodore Ryan, Jake's half-brother and the golden son of the family, plays the hero for the president. Jake stays in the shadows. He remembers his wife Jasmine. Three years ago, Theodore came on to her. When she refused, he killed her and made it look like suicide. Then he spread the rumor that Jake was an abusive alcoholic. Everyone believed it. Their father kicked Jake out. Jake disappeared into the gutter, but not before making a promise to his dead wife: he will kill Theodore himself, slowly, after he exposes the truth.

The president's daughter, Selina Grant, is a Delta Force agent. Her father won't let her go on the anti-terror mission without a partner, and he's looking for the best sniper in the country. He adds Jake to the candidate list. Theodore is the favorite to win. Jake is the joke. Everyone laughs. Then the competition starts.

First round: fixed targets. Theodore shoots brilliantly. Jake shoots the largest target and scores the lowest. But when they inspect the target, Jake's bullet has hit a fly. It's the smallest target. Jake wins the round. He looks at Theodore and says, “Does it sting that I stole your spotlight, brother?”

Theodore won't let it go. He changes the second round to grenades flying at the shooters. If you don't hit it in time, you die. He thinks he's proving something. Jake steps up anyway. Three grenades. The crowd screams. Jake doesn't shoot. He puts the fuse back into the grenade. It doesn't explode. He saved the man who was about to die. The room goes silent. No one can believe it. Only Bullseye could do that.

The president asks why Jake hid his talent. Jake answers that there's a difference between having talent and showing off. He has nothing to prove. Especially not to Theodore. But Jake knows the truth. Winning this contest gets him access to case files. He needs evidence against Theodore. So he's done hiding.
