Train Me Harder, Coach!

Noah Kai is a college football benchwarmer who has spent six years using suppressants to fake being an Alpha. He needs a starting spot for the scholarship that can pay for his father's tumor surgery, and his father still talks about watching him play on live TV.

Teammates call him little mouse and plan to sandwich him in practice. Damian Thorne, a top quarterback, arrives as a technical advisor and chooses to coach Group B. Noah, the least experienced player, lands in Group B, which means after-practice sessions with Damian every day. When Group A takes the school field at night, the sessions move to Damian's house.

Damian makes Noah sign an NDA. He measures Noah's shoulders, waist, and hips, corrects his cuts, and stays close during squats. Noah shows up every night, denies any feelings, and reacts when Damian agrees to attend Brittany's party. Brittany Sinclair, the cheer captain, pursues Damian.

With the physical approaching, Tony's Omega expulsion hangs over the team. Damian finds Noah's pills and offers to mark him so his blood would read like an Alpha's. Noah refuses: "Football means everything to me, but not if it costs me my pride." Later, Noah buys black-market pills for three hundred dollars. Damian crushes them. Noah hits him, and the coach sees it.

The blood test is cancelled. Noah goes through the tryout and is later named the starting wide receiver against West Hill. Only afterward does he learn why the test was cancelled: Tony, an Omega player previously expelled after his own blood test, has been filing discrimination complaints. His complaints accuse the school of knowing he had hidden his gender for three years and doing nothing. The league sends a formal warning that the whole team could be banned for the season. Damian steps in and convinces the league to keep the team playing on one condition: cancel all blood tests. The league agrees after Damian renews his ad contract for one year free. Damian also takes the blame for the fight.

Noah prepares an apology and picks his own gift at the gift shop, but he is twenty-eight dollars short. Brittany Sinclair, the cheer captain, covers the payment and asks him to deliver her gift to Damian. He does not know her gift is premium condoms with a note saying she is his for the night. Noah hands over Brittany’s gift. Damian accepts it. Both sides misread the exchange.
