She Faked An Engagement, He Made It True

Savannah's half-sister Chloe announces she is marrying Dean Archer, Savannah's ex. Savannah lied that she was engaged to Roman Blackwood, a billionaire, to save face. Chloe spills it to the family group chat. Savannah goes to Roman at 1 a.m. and asks him to pretend to be her fiancé. Roman agrees. He sends her an expensive bridesmaid dress.

At the family home, Chloe tries to humiliate Savannah with the dress, a bigger ring, and a wedding gift. Their father Julius, a retired federal judge, blames Savannah. At dinner, Chloe asks if Savannah is pregnant, hoping to corner her. Savannah denies it. Chloe says Roman is far above Savannah's league and asks why he would want to marry her. Roman calls Savannah perfect and tells Chloe she is too stupid to see it. Chloe turns to their father at the table and complains that Roman called her stupid. Julius defends Roman.

At the pool, Chloe lends Savannah a red bikini to humiliate her. Savannah wears it. Everyone stares. Roman kisses her in the water, then leaves. Dean taunts Savannah. Roman returns, pulls her out, and kisses her again. Emily, Alyssa's daughter, falls into the pool. Roman saves her. He says "Daddy's got you." Savannah looks at Emily's green eyes, identical to Roman's, and realizes he did not even notice what he just said.

Emily's biological father appears at the hospital and says he will take Emily. Roman goes downstairs and sees a man at the front desk. Roman asks if he is Emily's father, Gerald Potter. The man turns around. It is Ryan, Roman's elder brother. Ryan offers a deal: help him get custody, and he will keep a secret. Savannah overhears. Roman asks how much she heard. Savannah asks what he is hiding. He does not answer.

Chloe goes missing. Julius orders Savannah to find her. Savannah goes with Dean. They find Chloe shopping with Zane, her ex. Back home, Savannah cries in Roman's arms. Roman's side comes out: his father married his mother then destroyed her. Ryan was a debt his father left unpaid. Ryan was Emily's father. Roman had complicated feelings when he looked at Emily.

Emily is discharged. Alyssa thanks Roman. Savannah asks Alyssa why she had a child with a married man. Alyssa was an intern; he was her boss; he gave her everything then threw her away. Alyssa asks about professor Kingston. Savannah is shocked. Chloe appears and demands Savannah and Roman come to the bachelorette party.

At the bachelorette party, Chloe puts Savannah on stage in a red lace corset. Savannah owns it and dances with Roman. Chloe's plan fails. Savannah wins the round. Chloe would not give up.

Chloe's pregnancy was not Dean's, and her wedding was a revenge plot. Roman helps Savannah confront the professor who assaulted her and exposes the family's cover-up. Roman's own family wound surfaces. Savannah leaves for the desert, but returns. Roman proposes with his mother's ring. They burn every bridge and leave for freedom.
