Left Pregnant, But Returned With An Army

Drugged by Hilliard, framed, and exiled by the Sanders family, Annelise Parker raised three children alone. Algernon hacks systems. Blace builds weapons. Clemie smells things others cannot. At the airport, a customs officer flags her documents. Annelise knows it is a stall tactic. She creates a distraction and runs with the children. Clemie smells a black car first. Blace destroys it. That night, the children secure a motel room and scan Sanders Group's network. A priority alert is out for a woman and three children. Annelise admits Archibald is only her husband in name. The next morning, his team raids the room. They separate the children. Annelise begs them not to split them up.

Archibald brings her to the penthouse. He asks why the boy who destroyed his car has his blue eyes. He wants DNA tests because he thinks she cheated. Annelise refuses to sign until he agrees to a divorce. Then Darien, Archibald's autistic son, rushes in and clings to her. He has never made a sound to a stranger before. Archibald changes the deal: either police and prison, or stay as Darien's full-time caretaker to pay off a $612,000 repair bill. Annelise picks up the pen and says, “I choose option B.”

Later, she wonders if Archibald has a bite mark on his left shoulder. If the mark is there, it would match the stranger who assaulted her six years ago. Darian has another meltdown, and Annelise calms him with the same lullaby she sings to her triplets. Archibald stands in the doorway and listens.
