Her Fated Tiny Consort

Ethan, a modern man, falls into a primitive matriarchal world and is caught midair by Kaia, the 15-meter-tall chieftain of the Sola tribe. She claims him as the husband the gods sent. He refuses.

The tribe treats his refusal as defiance and demands punishment. Kaia keeps the decision in her own hands and sends Ethan to the men's quarters. There he argues that men and women deserve equal respect. Kellan, a tribe member, carries that to Kaia as a call for rebellion. The accusation escalates to a stake and fire. Kaia returns early from the hunt and stops it; Kellan admits the accusation was invented, takes twenty slaps and double gathering duty. Kaia declares Ethan's life hers to decide.

Ethan offers proof of value: salt, smoke, and sunlight can make meat last longer. Kaia lets him try over objections. The smoked meat holds. During the test, Kaia learns she is carrying an heir. She grants him limited movement inside tribal grounds and puts him in charge of the smoked meat.

Kaia plans to make Ethan her official husband. Ethan, still fearing Rhea and Kellan, studies the guard rotations and slips out during a patrol change. Kaia catches him after he escapes a tiger. He answers with "freedom is the most precious of all." She says his punishment will not cost him his life and denies affection.

Back in the tribe, the call is for fire and death. Kaia spares his legs and says he will carry her mark instead. The bone needle makes the lesson physical: Ethan belongs to Sola, and Kaia's word is the law.
