Betrayed Girl Becomes The Loved Goddess

Skuld is blind, but on the night before her wedding to Prince Eric, she sees him with her sister Ariel. Ariel calls her cursed and reveals Eric only agreed to marry her because Skuld had accepted becoming a sacrifice to the gods. The wedding was a ritual, not a marriage.

She chooses Jormungandr because he promises power and help against Eric and Ariel. Skuld accepts. Jormungandr sends nightmares to Eric and Ariel. Then Skuld appears at their wedding. Her father regrets not drowning her at birth. Her sister orders her out.
