Their Hidden Princess

Princess Zora Nightshade has a dream showing two men who could be her fated mate. Her grandmother Evelyn Nightshade already sealed her marriage to the heir of the Blood Moon Pack. Zora refuses the arrangement. Her grandmother takes her wolf, Lyra, and traps her: her wolf stays trapped until the man she chooses loves her unconditionally. If she doesn't find that love by her eighteenth birthday, the wedding goes ahead. Zora goes to Blackstone Academy posing as a wolfless nobody named Zora Reed.

At the academy, she catches the attention of Maximus Kane, Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack and three-time Alpha tournament champion, and Ethan Vale, Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack. They are best friends. Zora fights Maximus in the ring and holds her own. Ethan gives her his coat after a fight. She feels a spark.

Maximus drags Zora into the boys' locker room and warns her to stay away from Ethan. He says Ethan's bloodline is the only one left carrying magic. Zora offers to wash his clothes for information about Ethan. Headmaster Alaric Kane, Maximus's father, calls them in. He reminds Maximus he is marrying the royal princess in one month and warns Zora to stay away from his son.

Ethan and Maximus make a bet: if Zora really likes Ethan, she won't fall for Maximus. Ethan asks Zora out. Bianca Voss and her friends pour paint on Zora. Maximus punishes Bianca. Zora starts to see Maximus differently.

In an underwater rescue class, both Maximus and Ethan wait for Zora to save them. Whoever she saves is her partner. Zora hesitates. She has had a crush on Ethan since day one, but Maximus is messing with her head. The choice is left hanging.
