Freya was born a princess of the Elven Kingdom, but she had no magic. Her father, King Bern, ordered her taken to the Thorn Forest and left to die. Queen Tivana could not stop him. The First Ancestor, a deity, found Freya and raised her, training her until she became strong enough to defeat even him. When she came of age, she left the forest to find her parents, carrying only a rosewood token.
On her journey, she found Elian, a wounded elf, surrounded by goblins. She saved his life. Once the danger passed, Freya looked at him and asked whether all the men outside the forest were this handsome and this ripped. He invited her back to the Elven Kingdom.
Tivana recognized the rosewood token as the one she had given her daughter. She knew Freya was her child. Bern refused to acknowledge her. His warning was simple: if anyone learned she was the elven princess, he would kill her himself.
Freya did not wait for his acceptance. The Sacred Tree, the source of elven magic, was dying. She revived it. The kingdom watched the tree come alive again, a miracle that only the purest and strongest magic could produce.
Then the goblins attacked. Chief Soren brought an army, and a traitor named Kale had sold out the palace defenses. Kale dueled Kalen, Captain of the Royal Guard. Freya watched Kale’s technique and spotted what the king’s own trained warriors had missed: every third attack, his left hand reset. She called the opening to Kalen. Kalen struck. Kale fell.
Soren broke his word and pressed the attack. Bern summoned the guardian of the Sacred Tree, a lion of holy light. Soren cut it down and wounded the king. The elves were on their knees. Soren declared that every elf now belonged to the goblins.
