The Prince Is A Girl: A Dark Romance Fantasy

Emeriel was sent to the beastman kingdom as a human slave. Her blood pulled Daemonikai, the feral beast king, back to sanity. She fled that night and later learned she was pregnant. Five years on, she lives in Barlow's apothecary workshop in Ash Town as a blood slave, with her three children: Vera, who cannot shift, and sons Aldric and Soren.

Daemonikai has spent those five years searching Urekai. A calming pill from Ash Town carries Emeriel's scent, and he follows it to Barlow's factory. For Barlow, the royal visit is a chance to become royal apothecary; he orders more medicine even as Emeriel's body fails from blood loss. Hersa, the beastman maid, uses the children to keep Emeriel in line.

Emeriel sees one possible way out through the factory sewage pipes. Her heat and the medicine she uses to hide her scent make the plan dangerous. Daemonikai reaches the factory while she is still there. He protects Aldric from Hersa and learns the boy's mother is human, then searches the workroom and finds no Emeriel.

With the king's favor on the line, Barlow decides Emeriel's blood is no longer enough and orders her drained dry. The children get her out first. They flee into the sewers while Daemonikai seals Ash Town and Barlow hunts them, determined to kill Emeriel before the king can find her.

Aldric and Soren beg in the street for medicine money. Daemonikai recognizes Aldric and gives him a pill infused with the beast king's blood. Dario, Daemonikai's subordinate, questions whether a commoner deserves it. Daemonikai's answer is blunt: "They’re all mine to protect." Daemonikai saves the dying Emeriel.

Reunited, Emeriel and Daemonikai still face Marta's schemes and Zaiper's betrayal. Daemonikai kills Marta and finds a cure that does not harm Emeriel or the children. The family of five returns to the palace, and Emeriel becomes queen.
