The Hidden Queen: My Husband's Mistress Ruined My Empire

Serena Sinclair manages the Sinclair family's affairs while keeping her identity hidden. She has been married to Christian for three years. When her mother-in-law Martha returns from abroad, Serena cancels the motorcade and picks her up herself. She calls Christian, but he says he is buried in the grand opening. In a private room at Apex, Lexie asks Christian when he will divorce Serena. Christian refuses because he still needs Sinclair resources, then puts Lexie in charge of the restaurant. Lexie's brother Simon calls Apex the crown jewel of the group. Lexie answers that this is only the start; she will not stop until she is the CEO's wife and has the whole empire.

Martha gives Serena a pearl bracelet she tracked down at auction. It belonged to Serena's late mother. Serena tells Martha she is pregnant and hasn't told Christian yet. They decide to drop in at Apex and surprise him.

At the restaurant, Lexie treats them like outsiders. She mocks them for ordering only a ten-dollar cocktail and claims the VIP section has a ten-thousand-dollar champagne minimum. Martha says she is Christian's mother. Lexie laughs and says Christian's mother is a world traveler in designer labels, not a dusty old woman from the street. Simon, head of hotel security, backs Lexie and calls Serena and Martha low-life losers.

The confrontation escalates when Lexie grabs Serena's pearl bracelet and smashes it. Then she shows off a custom watch Christian gave her. Serena recognizes it as the anniversary gift Christian said he had sent for maintenance. Lexie calls Christian, fake-cries that she was attacked, and orders the guards to bring out his gift: a tank of electric eels. Christian tells Lexie he is coming right now. Lexie adds five more eels and starts a live stream while Serena and Martha are attacked.

As the live stream spreads, viewers begin identifying Serena as Christian's real wife. Christian's assistant Marcus arrives and repeats the company line that the CEO's wife and mother are abroad. Serena does not leave. She calls Gabriel Blackwood, her childhood friend and founder of Blackwood Group, and asks him to find her a lawyer. She says she is filing for divorce. Gabriel cancels the Blackwood deal with Christian and heads straight to Apex. Christian, already on his way, doesn't know the deal is dead.

Serena stays in the wreckage of the restaurant. The public now knows she is Christian's wife. What they don't know yet is that she is the Sinclair heiress who built his entire empire.
