The Gift Bride of a Mafia Don

Raven O'Brien is handed over by her father as a gift to Lorenzo, a mafia don. He sets a three-month fiancée contract. The estate treats her as an outsider. Cecilia and the elders bully her. Raven slaps Cecilia at the welcome. The elders intervene and move her to the servants' quarters. Cecilia orders her to clean every toilet and hand-wash the garden mops. She does not fold.

Cecilia buys off the butler. Drugged wine leaves Raven dizzy, and a man tries to assault her before Lorenzo arrives. The butler admits Cecilia sent him and paid him five hundred thousand. Lorenzo says the earlier leak was him, then kills him. An arms shipment is hijacked. Raven finds a weapons procurement list in Cecilia's room. Cecilia admits to embezzling procurement funds for a diamond necklace, denies the weapons, and Lorenzo locks her up.

Lorenzo goes to the docks to meet Cassian, Raven's childhood sweetheart. Cassian plans to take her away. Lorenzo delivers Raven's message: she stays for the full three months. They clash. Cassian knows her birthmark and the scar on her back.

The Rosetti family arrives at the docks over the missing billion-dollar shipment. During the confrontation, Lorenzo is hit. He later removes the bullet himself and runs a fever. Raven treats the wound. Their banter turns into something neither admits.

Trisha returns to New York from France. She is jealous of Raven and treats her as a rival. The maid's account of Lorenzo's past places Trisha at the center: she protected him when he was an illegitimate son, and he once loved her. Raven's belief collapses. "She's the one you've loved all along."

Trisha sets traps to destroy Raven. Lorenzo risks his life and is willing to abandon his power to protect her. Raven realizes her true feelings. They confess. Cassian eventually steps aside and offers his blessings.
