Grace Whitmore survives the U7222 crash and walks out injured. She calls Preston. He does not answer. At the hospital, she watches her husband rush through the maternity ward with Vivian Ashford in his arms. Someone says they make a perfect couple. Grace has been his wife for three years.
She goes home and asks Preston for an explanation. He gives none. Three years ago, his mother and sister drugged her, staged a man in her bed, and called her a cheater. Preston never believed her. The Vances kept her as a servant, humiliated her, and now expect her to clean a room for Vivian to move in for the pregnancy. Grace hands over divorce papers and walks out.
She returns to her real family. Arthur Whitmore, her grandfather, is waiting. Her brother Julian is there too. The Vances never knew Grace was the Whitmore fourth daughter. They only knew the lie they created.
At her birthday gala, Chloe and Mrs. Vance start the same old attack. Grace lets them talk. Then she turns to the crowd and says, “Faked or not, see for yourselves.” Photos show the Vances paying off the man in her bed. A recording plays Chloe ordering the setup. Chloe tells Julian to call security and throw Grace out. Julian answers that it is indeed time to call security. Then the doors open. Arthur Whitmore appears and announces that Grace is his precious granddaughter, the fourth daughter of the Whitmore family. He asks them again who they said she was. No one answers. Chloe is pushed to her knees to apologize. She fakes a faint. The doctor says a few needles will wake her. Chloe comes around, and Grace has security show them out.
Later, Chloe and Vivian corner Grace at a jewelry store. Vivian makes a show of falling and clutches her stomach. There is blood. Preston rushes in and blames Grace. He carries Vivian out, promising she will pay if anything happens to the baby. Grace stays behind, calm.
Nate Sinclair, a survivor from the same crash, watches from the sidelines. He knows more than he says. Grace is only starting to pull the thread. Mr. T is still out there.
