The Abandoned God Of Olympus

Elon, the true prince of Olympus, has spent a hundred years being called a mutt, a thief, a disgrace. Valerius frames him for stealing the golden apple and pushing him down the stairs. Every denial only deepens the disgust. Zeus strips him of divinity on the spot. Hera orders him out. Elon leaves, but this time he doesn't cry or kneel. He has already died once and been sent back twenty years. He knows what's coming.

Reborn into the same temple, he stops explaining. When Hera's peacock mantle burns, he doesn't beg. He admits he did it because the cape looked disgusting. The punishment is a week without divine nectar, enough to wither what little divinity he has left. He leaves Olympus for Moira, a town on the mortal border.

In Moira, Elon finds Balon, a blacksmith whose life he saved during a plague. A scout beast attacks, and Elon realizes a massive beast storm will follow. He tells the villagers to mine volcanic black iron. He forges weapons that can cut through the beasts, and he teaches Ionia, a low-ranking handmaiden of the time goddess, to feel the rhythm of time within herself. The mortals begin to follow him, not out of fear, but faith.

The beasts come. Elon and the villagers drive them back, but then a Titan Python emerges from the cracked earth. Athena and Artemis arrive, telling him to come home. Elon refuses. He swears by the River Styx, "From now on my soul and my destiny are forever severed from the line of the Olympian king." He goes back to Moira with Ionia and Balon, leaving Olympus behind.

Kratos, an enforcer of the divine temple, arrives to take the villagers as sacrifices for the god king. Elon strikes him. He tells Kratos that the gods feed on fear, but he will use his hammer to defend their lives. The people declare they will follow Elon even against the sacred mountain. They begin building the Aegean Shield barrier, using lightning rods to turn Zeus's own thunder into power.

Meanwhile, Athena and Artemis dig into the past. They discover Elon's room was a damp storage closet with rotten hay. His monthly divine nectar ration was five hundred drops, compared to Valerius's one hundred thousand. His body is covered in old punishment wounds, some fifty years old, never treated. Valerius's lies begin to surface. But Zeus and Hera still believe Elon will crawl back on his own.

Elon doesn't. He saves Rhyax from a beast attack and absorbs the lightning with his rods. Mortals begin to see him as their protector, not a fallen god. The family that threw him away is finally starting to realize what they lost, but Elon has already moved on. He is building something new, and when the Titan crisis comes, the gods will have to beg.
