Tommy Moss, a ten-time world heavyweight champion, still fought underground at fifty. Arthur Dixon, the world’s No.2 fighter, beat him. Tommy died in the ring, with his mother Sarah and sister Lily still on his mind.

Lucifer Morningstar, Lord of Hell, offered a second life and immense power. The price: "But the next time you die, you will become my servant forever." Tommy accepted the deal to return to his prime. The contract was sealed. He woke as a seven-year-old child.

In Brooklyn, Marcus White, a loan shark, came for the Moss family debt. He demanded one million dollars and moved to take Lily. Little Tommy stepped in. His strength and technique dropped Marcus’s men, and Marcus saw a fighter on par with a world champion. A deal followed: one underground match, one million dollars.

The match was part of a turf war between Frank Powell, a Brooklyn mob boss, and his arch-enemy Marc Holt. Frank's side was down to its last fighter. Little Tommy entered the three-on-three, which ran until one side could not fight. He beat Hector Green, the Butcher, in one punch. Then came Jack Short, the silent giant in a mask. Little Tommy answered with the phantom blitz, a move only Tommy Moss knew. He let them believe he was Tommy Moss’s son, a disguise tied to his contract with Lucifer.

Blake Dale, chairman of the Boxing Association, offered a wild-card spot for the world heavyweight championship. Marc Holt answered with Erica Nash, the Deadly Rose, a world top-ten fighter who fights to kill and copies moves after one look. She used Little Tommy's own defensive stance and the viper strike. He still beat her. Marc knelt. Frank kept Brooklyn.

Blake paid one million in cash and invited the Moss family to a pre-championship dinner. The world championship carried a ten million dollar prize and a one million dollar appearance fee. Little Tommy accepted the spot for Brooklyn. Frank's crew promised him their cut of the profits and half their turf. In his past life, Tommy died in a dark cage because he could not manage wealth. This time he wanted a crew of his own. His goal was simple: move Sarah and Lily out of the rundown Brooklyn apartment.

The dinner toasted the future world champion. Lucifer's contract remained. Arthur Dixon, the world's No.2 fighter, remained a threat, along with the betrayers Tommy once vowed to defeat.
