On a rainy Manhattan night, Analia's car is wrecked. Blood trickles down her face as she dials her husband Clive for help. Three calls go unanswered. The fourth reaches his assistant, who brushes her off as a scheming wife. While she's trapped in the wreckage, Clive is striding down a red carpet with his ex-girlfriend Angelena—the very woman whose ultrasound report Analia later finds in his jacket. When she finally asks for a divorce, his reaction is not an apology but a financial lockdown. Every card is frozen, leaving her to count crumpled dollar bills just to buy a bottle of water. A voice message from him arrives: "Hungry yet? Come home and apologize." She deletes it. Analia, however, has a past Clive never bothered to learn. Before their marriage, she was the voice actress known as Starfall. With nothing left to lose, she picks up a microphone in a friend's walk-in closet and auditions for a warrior queen who has lost everything. The famous director Gaylon, exhausted by Angelena's stiff delivery, hears her tape and immediately declares it the voice he's always imagined. Clive storms into Gaylon's office, ready to blacklist the nobody who stole his ex's role, not realizing the voice he wants to silence belongs to his own wife. Analia signs the contract under her secret name and steps out of the shadows in a red velvet dress. At the family dinner, his grandmother forces her to drink a bitter tonic while hinting at infertility. Clive says nothing. So she returns the favor—feeding him a burning mouthful of wasabi that sets his ulcer on fire. She's already made him choke on his arrogance with nothing but her presence.
