Star Alpha's Fated Is That Omega He Humiliated!

Ian Dawson is the star Alpha and captain of the Black Diamonds. Avi Adler is the school's weakest Omega, a benchwarmer who has loved Ian for three years. After a lost game, Ian punches Avi in the locker room and blames him for destroying the championship. Coach Marcus Voss orders Ian to train Avi one-on-one until Avi can play in a real game, or hand over the captain's position.

Avi is hurt from the punch and is in the medical room. The coach sends Ian to tend to him. Ian tosses the ice pack at Avi and mocks him for not even catching it; it lands on the floor. Avi goes to pick it up, and they accidentally kiss. In later defensive drills, Avi's suppressor burns and Ian's pheromones hit harder.

At Luke Gatsby's party, a drunk Ian kisses Avi in the dark, drawn by a scent he cannot place. Avi recognizes the fated bond.

On Blood Moon night, at the coming-of-age ceremony, Ian's wolf spirit walks to Avi and names him. Ian rejects him publicly: "I reject you as my fated mate." Avi's wolf spirit weakens under a curse; in Avi's own words, his wolf is dying.

Ian insists he is straight and sets out to find the girl from the party whose scent made his heart race, not knowing it is Avi. Luke, Avi's friend and teammate, confronts Ian; Ian beats him. Avi intervenes and says he will not bother Ian anymore. Ian tells himself he should be happy, then tells Avi he had better mean it and leaves with Nova Sinclair, one of his pursuers. Avi resolves not to stay bowed forever.

Ian later realizes the scent is Avi's and chases him relentlessly. Ian's uncle and Avi's mother become partners, making Ian and Avi family. Avi transforms and refuses Ian's late confession. Only Ian's mark can save Avi's life.

After a brutal foul in a match, they finally confess in the medical room. Ian promises to be an Alpha only for Avi.
