Sirenna freed Taras and bore his twins; now her family forces her to marry the sea god who forgot her, while Melidia hides the stolen daughter.
Sirenna is the unloved daughter of the Moss family, shunned for Medusa-cursed blood. Nereus, her fiancé, refuses her at the door, cites her dead scales and the sea court's death warrant, and leaves her with nowhere to go. She falls into the sea.
Her blood frees Taras, the sea god of the abyss, from the Abyssal Frost curse that held him over a century. She can touch him without freezing. He calls her his antidote, and after one night together, he vanishes to heal. Melidia, fake mother of the stolen twin Cassandra, intercepts his guards, so Sirenna believes he left her. Later, Taras has his men search the seven seas and every coastal kingdom for the woman who freed him, but they find no sign. He had promised to make her his wife and broke his word.
Sirenna bears twins, loses one, and raises Ariane in hiding. Five years later, her family kidnaps Ariane to force her into a marriage with Taras. At the Moss family's ice crystal fortress, Sirenna's dead scales are gone; her father Oceanus sets the terms: in three days she will be bound to Taras, and he must never learn she is a mother. Their plan includes stripping every scale from her body to restore her virgin purity. Cassandra, the twin Melidia raised as her own, falls ill and names a twin sister trapped in ice. Taras follows that lead to the ice crystal fortress. He arrives, sees Sirenna's portrait, and claims her as his bride. Sirenna stops him: "I am the mother of a five year old child." She states she is not a virgin. She exposes the violence planned against her and the threat to her daughter's life.
Taras is unmoved by her virginity but not by the lie. He still requires a noble mermaid for peace with the abyss. He orders her to come to the sanctum in three days and bring her daughter. Sirenna sees no trace of the tender man from five years ago.
In the abyss temple, she finds Cassandra, the stolen twin. Melidia traps her. Taras uncovers the truth, saves Sirenna, and exposes the lie. Sirenna becomes his wife and earns his family's respect.
