After a fight at the bar, Logan asked if she was scared of him. He said he could not control his violence and called himself a burden. She told him what Adrian really was. Logan said nothing, so she told him to have it his way. Three days later, his family threw Adrian an early birthday party, and her parents brought her without telling her. Both families had already set her up. She was pushed onstage in front of a clapping room, with Adrian waiting for her to announce the date.
