Real Family Found Me, Now Enemies Fall

Isadora, adopted by the Sollow family, is accused of poisoning her adoptive brother Lysander and driven out. The potion she gave him contained moonstone juice to expel cursed black blood, but Jasper's test found deadly poison, and the family sided with Ophelia, their youngest daughter. Isadora refused to apologize, left, and stopped wasting her research on them.

Meanwhile, Alistair Silverwood, head of the Silverwood family, had spent sixteen years without word of his missing granddaughter. A lead pointed to a Muggle village south of London, where a witch had sold a baby girl wearing the family's elven magical stone necklace. Alistair ordered his three grandsons—Lucian, Dorian, and Caspian—to search, and said if they could not find her, none of them needed to come back.

Isadora returned to her old hideout in Moon Shadow Town, broke and needing work. Roger Lock, Deputy Director of the Crown Arcane Directorate, was hunting for the legendary healer X. Sebastian Nott, the Directorate's director, was dying from a soul-rending curse. Roger found Isadora and brought her back to try.

Isadora diagnosed Sebastian at a glance: grade three soul-rending curse, dark magic backlash, three cracks in his magical core. She named the cure: moon grass essence and silver needles before tonight. During treatment, Caspian Silverwood, her brother from the Silverwood family, saw her silver-leaf ancient tree pendant and recognized it as the Silverwood family's. He told their grandfather Alistair, who had Lucian informed and sent Dorian to bring her back at any cost.

Isadora cured Sebastian over three treatments. A bloodline verification in the manor hall confirmed she was the Silverwood daughter missing for sixteen years. Alistair announced a homecoming ceremony in three days.

At Blackthorn Academy of Magic, Ophelia fell and Julian Avery, Isadora's fiancé and heir to the Avery family, blamed Isadora. Isadora ended the engagement on the spot. In a research group session, Ophelia called Isadora emotionally unstable and got her pushed out of the Moonlight Elixir project.

When the Valerius family needed the Moonlight Elixir for an ancient curse, Ophelia claimed to be its creator and offered to brew it. The recipes were Isadora's. Celestia Silverwood, Alistair's grand-niece, allied with Ophelia to hire assassins. Sebastian and Isadora's brothers protected her through every attack. At the return ceremony, the family exposed Celestia and cut ties with the Sollows. Sebastian proposed, and Isadora accepted.
