One Night With A Racer, Two Wolf Cubs

Katie Smith, a racing-club assistant, spends one night with race-car driver Dean Carter. He leaves payment and calls it a mistake. She goes back to part-time work and her debts.

Three months later, Katie learns she is pregnant. Other women are showing up at the club claiming Dean fathered their children; Dean denies all of them. Katie decides to raise her child alone. She gives birth to two puppies, names them Nicole and Felix, bribes nurses to keep quiet, and warns the cubs never to talk around other people.

Damian Cole, a loan shark holding her mother's gambling debt, demands payment and threatens to get creative. Katie brings the cubs to work hidden in her bag.

The cubs slip into Dean's lounge and take his helmet and championship ring. Selena Hart, Dean's manager, catches Katie and accuses her of theft and stalking. The cubs come out and call Dean daddy. Dean asks if they're wolves; Katie calls them dogs she found. Dean stops security and gives her advice on raising puppies. Later, Selena pushes him to fire Katie and accuses her of drugging him to trap him for money. Dean keeps her on.

At home, Katie warns the cubs to act like normal puppies around other people. Damian corners her, sees the cubs, and calls them perfect specimens for the black market. Meanwhile, Dean finds Katie's racing notebook at the club, and Carly, Katie's coworker, gives him her address. Dean arrives at the apartment, throws his wallet, grabs Damian's hand, and his eyes glow red. Damian flees. Dean holds the cubs.

Afterward, Dean questions Katie about the wet-weather tire strategy in her notebook, invites her to practice, and tries her setup on the track the next day. It works. Selena watches Dean take Katie seriously.
