My Weak Little Dog Is a Legendary Sky Lion

Amber Ashvale is a top student at Helios Beast Academy. Her lover Corrin Stormcall and her best friend Ophelia Ravenshade betray her. Ophelia wants Amber's pure blood magic, and Corrin gives Ophelia the exact place to strike. Aerion Dawnwing, Ophelia's bonded beast, shields Amber from the attack. Amber burns her life energy and dies. She wakes up on the day she chose her bonded beast.

Amber refuses Corrin. She lets Ophelia have him. Instead she chooses Aerion Dawnwing, the weak white dog who shielded her in her past life. The academy laughs at the wingless pup. The headmaster warns her that Aerion cannot win the floating forest trial and asks her to break the bond. Amber keeps him.

Aerion takes human form within a month. He was never a dog. A curse sealed his magic and his true body. Amber's bond breaks the seal. His true form is the legendary Sky Lion.

Ophelia also remembers the past life. She believes the god of magic gave her a second chance to be with Corrin. She wants Amber to keep helping her like before. Amber refuses. Corrin is trash she already threw away. Corrin demands more mana crystals, but Ophelia cannot feed his power. She starts to see he is not the unstoppable beast from her last life.

The floating forest trial begins. Amber arrives. Corrin and Ophelia are ready to crush her. A darker conspiracy is still unfolding, and the mastermind behind Amber's murder hasn't shown their face yet.
