Simon is the mercenary king known as Grey Wolf. Five years ago, he hid his identity to repay a debt to Mr. Hale. He became a live-in security guard for the Hale family and married Chloe so he could keep protecting her. For years, no one knew. They thought he was useless.
The family meeting is where everything turns. Chloe's assistant announces that Simon's work is worthless and he is fired. Simon sits calmly and explains he has been watching his phone to monitor the manor's security. The assistant mocks him. No one believes a security guard could be guarding anything.
Chloe walks in and shuts him down. She says his bullying look disgusts her. She calls him a piece of trash her grandfather insisted on bringing in. She only sees a parasite. Simon then names the five-million-dollar watch on John's wrist, the casino money Jack throws around, and Baker's private contact with rival Mafia families. He reminds John that he once asked Simon to help resell the family's weapons. Chloe does not believe any of it. Then she says the words that end it. She has never loved him, and she wants a divorce.
Simon stops pretending. He asks once if she is sure. She says yes. He picks up his phone, presses a button, and the warning lights outside the conference room go out. The surveillance screens go black. The electronic defense lines, facial recognition, and infrared locks are removed. He tells her those were his devices. When they installed them, the family called them junk. Now the junk is leaving.
Marcus and the Manor Team One are already assembled outside. When Chloe says their salaries come from the family, Marcus answers that their real salary was never from the family. These men were Simon's all along. Simon walks out and takes every one of them. Before he leaves, he tells John to take off the watch before midnight because it will become evidence.
Later, Mr. Hale learns what Chloe did. His voice is heavy when he says he never thought she would point the knife at Simon. Simon says Chloe is twenty-seven, not a child. If she wants to hold power, she will have to bear the consequences. That night, the hostile forces the security team had been holding back begin to move.
