Joanna's wedding day ended with her kneeling on broken glass. Her fiancé John walked out without looking back—Lily had called from the hospital, and he chose her over his bride. Minutes later, Lily phoned Joanna just to gloat. "In John's heart, you'll never ever be me," she laughed. Joanna stood up, wiped the blood off her knees, and walked straight to a man she'd never met.
