My Homeless Husband Is Secretly a Culinary God

Arthur posed as a homeless man. Chloe hired him as a fake fiancé. Now Chad's anorexic guest must eat his dish, or Morrison's dies tonight.
Arthur is the world champion chef, ten years in a row. He built Olympus, a culinary empire worth over one hundred billion dollars. But he is tired of people who only want his money and his name. He wants someone kind, someone who doesn't care who he is. So he poses as a homeless man and puts out a carrot rose with a simple test: whoever takes it first gets a ten million dollar investment.
Chloe takes the rose and says it is special. Her fiancé Chad appears, furious that she ran out on their wedding. He calls Arthur a filthy bum and humiliates him. Chloe has had enough. She announces the engagement is off. She would rather marry a beggar than marry Chad. She doesn't know Arthur is the very chef she idolizes.
Chloe's family restaurant, Morrison's, is on the verge of collapse. Her father depends on Chad's family money. Without a strong fiancé to show investors, the restaurant will be swallowed whole. So Chloe asks Arthur to pretend to be her rich fiancé for one night, for a thousand dollars a day. Arthur agrees, not for the money, but because he wants to see who Chloe really is.
At the banquet, Chloe's cousin Mia recognizes Arthur as the homeless man from a viral photo. Chloe spins a story about a charity project, but the family is shaken. Then Chad arrives with the governor's wife, an anorexic woman who hasn't eaten in days. Chad cut off Morrison's supply chain, so the restaurant can't even make its signature black truffle soup. He gives them one chance: cook something she will actually eat, or the family loses everything.
Chloe's father tries. The governor's wife spits it out, calling it cheap garbage. Chad orders his men to tear the place apart. That's when Arthur steps forward. He says twenty minutes is too long. Give him three.
Chloe panics. Arthur can't cook, she thinks. But Arthur stands over the stove with a rusted knife and ordinary ingredients. The fire runs blue. The smell changes. In three minutes, he plates a simple pasta. Chloe's mother calls it just plain pasta. Mia says her mom cooks better than this. Chad swears he’ll strip naked if she swallows one bite. The governor's wife looks at the plate. Then she says, "Wait. I want to taste that."
