George Williams, code name Reaper, served in Delta Force for twenty years and received the Medal of Honor. He returns to attend his son Kane's wedding. Kane has built a career and is engaged to Wendy Moore. The Moore family has rented an entire estate for the event.
At the venue, Wendy's sister Katherine mistakes George for a homeless man taking pictures and threatens him. Kane is thrilled to see his father. Wendy is not. She calls George a hobo, mocks his military service, says he never made it past the rank of janitor, offers him money to disappear, and has men take him away to teach him manners. George handles them.
The men recognize the Delta Force tattoo on George's arm and flee. Wendy has been begging Anna Kennedy to attend for weeks and gets rejected. George calls Anna himself. Anna has a private line that connects only to George, and she agrees to come to Morin Estates in Queens.
Wendy's mother then demands a thirty-million-dollar security deposit for George to attend the wedding. Kane agrees to pay it, but the transfer fails. Wendy and her family have already moved all the money out of Kane's company account. It was a setup to toy with him.
Anderson, a business rival whose acquisition offer Kane once refused, arrives. Anderson exposes that Wendy chose him from the day Kane refused the offer. Anderson planned to let the wedding proceed so Kane could watch him get Wendy pregnant. Wendy's family calls Kane a dog that fetches money and tells him to crawl back to his doghouse.
George promises to make them pay. Kane argues the Moore family is too powerful with Anderson on their side. George refuses to let his fallen comrades suffer that humiliation. They died honorably in battle.
The Moore family notices the important guests have not arrived and goes outside. Anderson finds Bell standing with George and calls Bell over. George's answer: “I haven't given him permission to leave.” Bell has already recognized George's identity. Anna Kennedy arrives. She greets George personally, and the Moore family realizes their mistake.
