My Demon Lord, Your Shepherd Girl Has Run Away Again

Ingrid is the Crown Princess of Winslow. After her mother died, her father King John exiled her to a deserted island for six years to keep her stepmother Martha and stepsister Lilith happy. He treated her as a bride for the demon lord, a sacrifice. The kingdom could never keep her.

Six years later, John offered Ingrid to the great demon lord Lucifer, begging for a century of power and prosperity. The ritual summoned Lucifer. He fought the archangel Michael. Wounded, Lucifer entered Ingrid’s cabin on her ship by accident. He held her down, kept her silent, wrapped her feet with his demon tail, and kept touching her. His blood dripped onto the artifacts necklace around her neck and stained it with demonic energy.

Michael and his angels searched the ship. Ingrid claimed the demonic energy came from artifacts she dug up. Michael left. Lucifer demanded her name or her life. She gave him a fake name: Georgina. Then Lucifer left. Ingrid returned to Winslow.

At the palace, her stepmother and stepsister wanted her to break the betrothal and transfer it to Lilith. Ingrid refused. She would fulfill the sacrifice and become Lucifer’s bride.

Lucifer remembered Georgina. He ordered his people to find the girl who lied to his face. Martha brought Ingrid to the demon palace. Selina, Lucifer’s follower, blocked her. Lucifer let her in, his back turned to her. Neither recognized the other.

Ingrid proposed a deal: marry him for one year, and she would restore the abyss and bring life back to the wasteland. She commanded the beasts of hell and healed the dead ground. Lucifer agreed. For one year, she could wield his authority and take back what was hers.

She asked for an engagement ball and for him to stand beside her, so the world would see their future queen. Lucifer warned her not to push her luck. Later, he sees through her act, grips her chin, and claims her as his own. This time, he will not let her escape.
