Married to Dad's Best Friend

Madalyn's boyfriend cheats on her. She gets drunk and spends the night with Nicolas, her late father's best friend who is thirteen years older. The next day, she learns that her father had arranged for her to marry Nicolas. She agrees to the marriage, believing it's only to honor her father's wish. After they get married, Nicolas keeps his distance and gives her space. When Madalyn goes for a job interview at his company, her ex-boyfriend shows up and refuses to leave her alone.
