Callie spends three years as Andrew's dutiful wife, but he stays cold, fixated on his first love Justine. When a building collapses and injures Justine, she falsely claims Callie pushed her into the rubble. Andrew believes Justine and demands Callie donate a kidney. In the hospital, Callie challenges Justine's injury; Justine reacts quickly, and the need for a transplant is exposed as a lie. Still, Andrew's trust does not return. Callie asks for a divorce. At Nova, Callie endures gossip and harassment from client William. Andrew intervenes when William gets physical. He later brings gifts, insisting he always cared. Callie confronts him with proof that the gifts supposedly sent to her were taken and flaunted by Justine. Andrew, stunned, drags Callie home to inspect the truth behind the gifts, determined to expose every deception.
