I Paid A Big Shot For One Night

After being drugged at a gala, Vesper wakes up from a one-night stand and leaves $300 for the stranger. That stranger turns out to be Damon, her husband Julian's older brother. For three years, Vesper has lived in a cold, loveless marriage while Julian openly cheats with a pregnant actress and passes off Vesper's songs as his own. Damon shows her proof that Julian is hiding money and preparing for a child with his mistress. He also discovers that physical contact with her calms a rare sensory disorder he suffers from, which is why he decides to protect her rather than destroy her. Later, Vesper hides and overhears Julian call her a doormat with no talent. She stops playing the obedient wife, publicly exposes Julian's affair during a business meeting, and confronts him with a separation agreement.
