Ethan Bennett walked away from his empire for Sophia. She gave it to Derek. Now he's taking it all back.
Ethan Bennett built Bennett Group, then stepped away from it for his wife Sophia after she saved his life. He handed her his money and his power, and she became CEO. Their son Noah, the company's heir, was on a video call with Ethan, showing off a gift he had made for his mother. Derek, Sophia's lover, was driving with their secret daughter Chloe, who pushed him to speed up for limited-edition sneakers about to sell out. Derek hit Noah and kept driving.
At the hospital, Derek tried to settle things with a liability waiver, cash, and Sophia's black card. He offered a hundred grand, then two, then three, calling Noah worthless. The card was declined. Ethan had locked it. Then Chloe arrived, complaining that Noah's blood had stained Derek's car and that he should be grateful he had not died in the street. That was how Ethan learned Chloe was Sophia and Derek's daughter, and older than Noah.
Derek ordered his men to beat Ethan. Before they moved, Ethan's people delivered five million in cash. He used it to take Derek down. Derek's men grabbed Ethan; Ethan fought back until Derek hit him from behind with a stun baton and they pinned him. Sophia's lawyer arrived, threatening prison. Ethan broke free and stood up with the baton in hand.
Sophia walked in while Derek's men were still surrounding Ethan. She told Marcus to destroy the trash, not seeing Ethan's face until he spoke. The doctor reported Noah had been saved but faced intracranial injury and possible long-term coma. A video of Ethan beating Derek spread online, and Chloe's friends laughed at her. Chloe demanded a video of Ethan apologizing to send back to them. Sophia said something came up at the company and told Derek and Chloe to go ahead. She left to take the call.
Ethan had stayed out of the spotlight too long. No one even knew he was the chairman of Bennett Group. Now he is taking back everything.
