Hero Husband's Apocalypse Harem

Ten years after World War III, Sam survives by scavenging scraps. He stumbles on an auction where three women are being sold. Tessa, Jade, and Mary. A system activates inside him with one warning: if he abandons any of them, he dies. Their favorability starts negative across the board.

Sam has one can of food. Rex, the toughest gang leader in the area, bids three cans. Sam steps in anyway. The crowd laughs at the dumpster diver trying to play hero. Then the system’s beginner reward dumps a pile of canned food in front of him. He outbids Rex and leaves with all three women. The words he uses when he steps in: “None of you are laying a finger on them.”

His shelter is one cracked room with no proper bed. The women introduce themselves. Tessa’s family worked in real estate. Jade ran a mercenary group until betrayal. Mary is a former Hollywood star. Sam draws food from the system and feeds them meat. That night, Tessa moves closer to him first.

Rex returns with armed men. He wants Mary for a few nights in exchange for a can of food. Sam refuses. Rex orders his men to kill Sam. Jade beats them back. Rex flees, promising his boss will destroy Sam. The system counts favorability all the while. Tessa is at thirty-five. Jade is warming. Mary is still suspicious.

Sam knows one mistake could kill him. He hasn’t fully won Mary yet. The system rewards him for their affection, and Rex is still out there.
