He Killed Our Son, His Friends Claimed Me

On the day of their son's funeral, Riley's husband, Alpha Ethan Floen, is absent. He has ordered her to the office to meet investors and his friends. There she finds him with his stepsister Wendy Harrington, Riley's former best friend. Ethan calls her tears boring and their son unfit to live with her. Riley slaps him and agrees to the open marriage he has always wanted.
That night, in a bar, Riley meets three men who know Ethan: his best friends, Gunnar, Cahn, and Cayden Dravenmoor. They offer her a place in their arrangement and a way to get back at Ethan. She agrees to sleep with them to forget him. She wakes with a signed contract binding her to all three. The men are the CCG Alphas Ethan talks about constantly.
Back at home later that morning, Ethan and Wendy confirm they are fated mates. Riley moves into the guest room and sends a lawyer to formalize the open marriage.
Later at Grayson Group, the three brothers wait as new investors; Ethan invited them. Their offer comes with a condition: decision-making authority goes to Riley alone, stripping Ethan of final control. Riley signs. Ethan claims the company was his before the marriage and insults her. Riley warns him never to speak to her that way again.
While driving, Riley's mind stays on Ethan's insults. She hits a girl with her car. At the hospital, the girl introduces herself as Summer and reveals she is a werewolf who stepped in front of the car on purpose. Summer warns that people willing to destroy Crescent Valley for one ordinary human sent her. Riley refuses to leave with her, offers her money, and agrees to drive her home instead.
Summer leads Riley inside an estate and calls out to her dads. Riley finds Gunnar, Cahn, and Cayden seated with Daphne Dravenmoor, another Dravenmoor.
What waits inside points to a betrayal deeper than cheating—and a bloodline Riley never knew she carried.
