Prince Elian, born with a magical blockage, is framed by his brother Hilder for poisoning their mother and cast out of the royal family. Hilder goes further, colluding with outsiders to drug Elian's wine with an aphrodisiac. Disoriented, Elian stumbles into the underworld of Eternal Night City and spends an involuntary night with Rayne, the beastman leader of the Greedy Wolf Palace. The next morning, Rayne's men have just wiped out a rival gang, seizing full control of the city. When Elian's loyal guard Linus catches up, they are cornered by Hilder himself, who demands the Heart of Phantom Knight—the last keepsake Elian's mother left him. Rayne appears and effortlessly deflects Hilder's high-level light magic, but he sets a cynical price: one million gold coins. Hilder retreats via a teleportation spell, and Elian, pushed past his limits, faints in Rayne's arms.

Rayne brings the unconscious prince back to his palace. When Elian wakes, he finds himself in debt to a crime lord who mocks his weakness yet studies him with unsettling focus. Elian confesses that since childhood his magic has been suppressed; he can barely heal a wound. With his mother murdered by his father's hand, Elian sees no path to revenge until Rayne offers a brutal bargain: show up at the training grounds at dawn and make himself useful as a mage for the Greedy Wolf Palace. Desperate, Elian accepts. Rayne's training pushes him into violent, high-stakes drills, and during one session Elian's dormant bloodline erupts so fiercely that he actually wounds Rayne—a breakthrough that proves his hidden power. Slowly, the prince unlocks more of his potential. That path eventually leads him into the Lost Sanctuary, where he faces the trials and awakens the bloodline of the first king.

Dramaglance Notes
There's an addictive friction here beyond the usual enemies-to-lovers arc. Elian is a prince stripped of everything; Rayne runs a criminal empire with iron control—yet from their first collision, his attention feels deeply personal. The aphrodisiac opening is a messy trigger, but the real hook is what follows: Rayne saving a "long-ear" for no real gain, then demanding a payment he knows is impossible. The training sessions are tense and physical, charged with a possessiveness neither names aloud. Elian's magical blockade mirrors his crushed spirit, and watching him break through under Rayne's harsh hand gives the power fantasy real weight. The Eternal Night City backdrop—gang wars, dark magic, elven hunters—keeps the danger immediate, so the romance never softens.
Character Dynamics
Elian is the disgraced elven prince whose magic has been blocked since childhood. He carries the Heart of Phantom Knight, a keepsake from his dead mother, and is relentlessly hunted by his scheming older brother Hilder. Hilder framed Elian for their mother's poisoning and now commands light magic and royal guards to seize the relic and bury the truth. Rayne is the formidable beastman leader of the Greedy Wolf Palace, fresh from conquering Eternal Night City's underworld. He steps between Elian and certain death, then binds the prince to him through a mix of mockery, training, and unspoken obsession. Linus, Elian's fiercely protective guard, and Loki, Rayne's sharp-eyed lieutenant, orbit the central pair as witnesses to an alliance that blurs the line between strategy and surrender. The driving conflict is Elian's fight to reclaim his stolen birthright while navigating a predator's den where trust is the most dangerous currency.
