Ella Foster and her best friend Leah Morris married the Harper brothers on the same day. Ella married Charles, a fire captain. Leah married Noah, a brilliant surgeon. Megan Vance, the ex both brothers once loved, came to the ceremony. Ella believed it was the start of a perfect life.

On their third anniversary, Megan set the curtains on fire and locked Ella inside the burning room. Pregnant and bleeding, Ella called Charles. He brushed her off, mentioning Megan’s cat stuck on the roof and comparing her unfavorably to Megan. He did not come.

Leah got Ella out and called Noah for help. Noah dismissed it as jealousy and stayed with Megan and her cat. At the hospital, Ella lost the baby. Charles and Noah were elsewhere, being praised for saving Megan’s cat.

Ella decided to file for divorce. Leah chose the same after seeing who the Harper brothers were. They planned a funeral for Ella’s baby and had lawyers start the divorce papers. When Charles returned, he called the fire fake and Ella manipulative. He refused to believe her.

At mediation, Megan came with Charles and Noah. Charles and Noah defended Megan and asked Ella to apologize. Ella refused. Both couples filed for divorce immediately.

After signing, the five walked out together. Leah celebrated their freedom and told the brothers they could now be full-time daddies to Megan’s cat. Megan apologized, and Charles and Noah still blamed Ella for the drama. Charles insisted he was the baby’s father. Then Ella stumbled on the steps. Charles shouted “watch the baby,” caught her, felt her flat stomach, and asked where their baby was.
