Forbidden Fling With My Bestie's Dad

Mia Morris, a grad student, is flying to Paradise Island for her best friend Sophie Dayes's wedding when she catches her fiancé Blake cheating with Tessa, Sophie's bridesmaid. Tessa drugs Mia. On the same flight, Damien, an older billionaire stranger, offers her a drink. Mia and Damien feel hot and dizzy, and the possibility of being drugged comes up. She hooks up with Damien without knowing who he is. Blake confronts them; Damien warns him off, then asks Mia's name before they part.

At the island, Sophie greets Mia and hears about Blake. Mia admits to a hookup with someone older and hotter, without naming Damien. At the welcome dinner, Sophie thanks her father, Damien Hayes. Mia realizes the stranger is the bride's dad. "Oh my god, I hooked up with my best friend's dad." Sophie introduces them. Mia and Damien pretend to meet for the first time. Sophie jokes about the plane and warns that crossing that line with her dad would end the friendship. Mia denies it.

Vivian, Sophie's mother and Damien's ex-wife, targets Mia. She calls Mia a gold digger. Damien reminds Vivian they are divorced. Vivian plans for Damien to return to her bed before the wedding and threatens to bury Mia if she gets in the way. Later Vivian finds Mia staying across the hall from Damien, claims eyes all over the island, and threatens to carve up Mia's face.

Vivian lunges at Mia with a broken bottle. Damien takes the hit and is wounded. He orders security to remove Vivian from his sight; she warns she will expose him soon enough. Mia tends Damien's cut.

The almost-kiss is interrupted by Sophie's call. Damien ends it there: it is late, and she should go. Mia leaves, calls the whole thing a mistake, and tries to refocus on school. Then she remembers her phone is still in Damien's room.

The wedding weekend is only beginning. Mia and Damien must hide what happened on the plane while Vivian's jealousy escalates. Jealous exes, hidden meetings, and sabotage threaten Sophie's ceremony. Mia wants to protect her friendship and Sophie's family, but her phone is still in Damien's room.
