Elara Vance, a brilliant architect, was framed for a bridge collapse that killed 53 people. Her parents called her a murderer and disowned her. Her ex-husband Silas had let his mistress Ivy cause the disaster and then made Elara take the blame. After ten years in prison, she started a quiet life as a barista under a new name. Silas tracked her down and dismantled everything she had rebuilt. Ivy, now Silas's fiancée and adopted by Elara's own parents, made her address public. Victims' families attacked Elara and threw her into a river. Police later presumed her dead.
