Lila Lennox arrives at Sterling Prep on a scholarship, carrying her dead mother's dream that she make it to an Ivy League school. The Seduction Game opens with a scholarship girl who has nowhere soft to land. Lila Lennox lives in a trailer with a father who drinks through his grief and a stepmother who wants her in a Hooters uniform, not a classroom. Her mother is dead, and her mother's Ivy League alma mater is the only thing she's still reaching for. Sterling Prep was supposed to be the way out. Instead, Brynn Sterling — the school's queen bee and a Yale legacy — decides Lila is a threat to her one guaranteed spot, and she deploys Preston, the school's reigning bad boy, to handle the problem. His assignment: seduce Lila and make her forget Yale exists.
What Brynn doesn't count on is that Lila overhears the plan from the start. She's been surviving people who want to break her for years, and a rich girl with a pawn doesn't scare her. She plays along, but on her own terms — walking into a party designed to humiliate her and walking out with the upper hand.
