Seven years after leaving her husband Kiefer and fleeing while pregnant, Genesis is finally brought back to his home. That night, she lost one of their twin babies—a loss she blames on Kiefer's adopted sister Nora, whom she believed he was with. But the truth soon comes out: Kiefer was drugged and mistook Nora for his wife, and Nora caused the loss of the baby. While he steps outside to take a call from his mother, Genesis leaves. Moments later, he finds only a locket left on the floor. Inside is a photo of a boy bearing a mark like his own. He realizes: the child is his.
