Joye affectionately speaks with her husband Gatsby as he promises to handle the details for her Ferrari, worth millions. The tone shifts when Gatsby is later heard on the phone with another woman, Samantha, presenting her with an expensive necklace and offering the Ferrari for her class reunion. Later, at the hotel parking garage, Samantha arrives in the Ferrari and confronts Joye over a VIP parking spot. When Samantha calls Gatsby for support, he speaks to Joye over the phone, unaware of her identity, and threatens to remove her. A hotel security supervisor arrives and, after seeing Joye's VIP gold card, sides with her, revealing such a card belongs only to the hotel's true owner. Samantha, refusing to accept this, damages Joye's car and calls Gatsby again for money. As Samantha boasts about his willingness to pay thirty million, Joye overhears Gatsby's voice on the line, realizing he is offering her own money—before the call suddenly drops.
