On her birthday, Daisy falls ill at home. Her father, Jason, ignores her calls while celebrating another child's birthday. Meanwhile, her mother Claire receives a panicked call from Daisy, who then passes out. Claire desperately tries to reach Jason, but he is distracted and insists Daisy is safe with his mother, Karen.
