Two years after being sent away, Selena returns home to find her older brother missing. Her homecoming is immediately met with a trap set by her own father, Frank Stork, who has her drugged and delivered to the bed of Harrison Mo, the man she has loved since she was 13.

To secure his company, Selena's brother forced their father into an agreement: Selena must be given a happy life. Seeing an opportunity, her father blackmails her into marrying Harrison, using her missing brother as leverage. Harrison, in turn, is consumed by resentment, publicly shaming Selena as "a malicious woman." Yet, as they are violently thrust together, a complex and secret attraction begins to challenge their deep-seated enmity, forcing them to confront the blurred lines between vengeance and desire.
