She knows he's rich, but what if he's also her boss? As Alice starts her double life, a new threat emerges at work. Discover her secret on FlareFlow.
New to New York and determined to make it on her own, Alice Carter helps an elderly man, Mr. Beny, who collapses on the street. Her kindness leads to an unexpected proposal: Mr. Beny insists his grandson, Alex, marry her as repayment. Faced with a dire need for $100,000 to cover her father's surgery, Alice seizes the opportunity when Alex reluctantly says, "let's just... I'll marry you." She asks if she can borrow the money first, and the deal is struck.
The next morning, Alex drops her off for her first day of work. She hands him a handwritten IOU, promising to repay every cent, and walks into the Bennett Group office to start her job as a janitor. Unseen by her, Alex watches from the car, his initial impression of her beginning to shift. An arrangement that feels more like a transaction is now the secret foundation of her new life, setting the stage for inevitable complications within the very walls of her workplace.
