Kyle hides god-tier strength until Lila brings daughter Mia to his door. With his blade pointed at Garrick, will the hidden Sword Emperor rise against the Abyss Cult?
Kyle lives as a recluse in the woods with his husky, Biscuit, hiding his true strength. Four years after a fateful night with Queen Helena of Astra, Lila, a royal swordswoman, arrives with Mia—Kyle's daughter. Shadow Guild assassins are closing in. Helena turned against the entire royal family for this child.
Lila couldn't protect Mia alone. Kyle stepped in and turned the killers into snowflakes. Mia thought it was a magic trick. When Lila woke, she refused to believe Kyle had that kind of power—he had no magic circuits at all.
Lila decided to teach Kyle royal swordsmanship so he could defend Mia. During practice, Kyle swung once and brought down a heavenly tribulation. Lila blamed it on a storm. Meanwhile, Mia was digging in the dirt with what looked like a hoe. It was a top-line ancient relic, and Kyle treated it like a toy.
Garrick, the Shadow Guild's chief assassin, arrived and attacked Mia. The relic defended her on its own and drove him back. Lila told Mia to run and held Garrick off, taking a near-fatal wound. Kyle appeared. Garrick mocked him as a nobody hiding in the woods and revealed that Helena had turned on the entire royal family for this child. Lila warned Kyle that Garrick was the deadliest killer the royals had ever faced. Kyle asked Lila if she still wanted to teach him the sword, told her to watch closely, and pointed his blade at Garrick.
That encounter was only the beginning. The Abyss Cult then waged war, and Helena fought until her hair turned white. Kyle, the hidden Sword Emperor, finally revealed his true might. He crushed assassins, defeated powerful foes, and even slew the ancient abyss god. When the war ended, Kyle reunited with Helena, and the whole family found their happy ending.
