Caught in the Paws of Mr. Unbelievable

Riley, a student working to support her younger brother and hospitalized mother, saved a wounded stranger at a convenience store six months ago. To scare off the men chasing him, she claimed to be his fiancée. That stranger turned out to be Austin, the son of a gang boss, and he has been pursuing her in a persistent but clumsy way ever since. He chased off the restaurant owner who was harassing her at work, and later stepped in to defend her when her stepsister Brittany framed her for damaging an expensive painting at an art exhibition.
