After her father, the president, is assassinated, Nova finds herself a target. Her father's best friend Grant Steele steps in to protect her, but Nova doesn't trust him. She sees him as just another hypocrite. When she discovers a hidden side of him, she decides to use it against him. She tries to seduce him, thinking it will prove her point. But the more she pushes, the more her own feelings begin to change.
