Taming Mr. Champion

In "Taming Mr. Champion," minor actress Rita accepts a high-stakes role: posing as the fiancée of famous racer Reginald. Hired by his mother, Mrs. Nelson, Rita's task is to expose Maggie—the controlling manager exploiting Reginald and his family's fortune. Rita's own motive is urgent: to fund her grandmother's life-saving treatment.

As Rita auditions, wins over Mrs. Nelson, and confronts Maggie, the charade grows riskier. Maggie retaliates, engineering a physical attack that leaves Rita injured.
