Helen, a 45-year-old nurse, takes a house call for Vincent Moretti, a mob boss who has erectile dysfunction. Their checkup unexpectedly leads to sex. Months later, Helen learns she's pregnant. She also discovers that the baby's cord blood could treat her daughter Mia's leukemia. Then her ex-husband Jeff, who she divorced fifteen years ago, shows up.
